i have office 2003 professional, and have been using this without problem for
several weeks on my desktop. since yesterday it has refused to allow me to
edit any documents in powerpoint, excel, word etc and will not allow me
create any new documents. i have since installed sp1 for office 2003,
thinking this would fix this issue, but it persists. i am desparate.....

If it's a trial copy you will need to purchase the full version.
If it is the full version you will need to activate it.
