my outgoing mail doesn't seem to be 'moving; what is the problem?

My outlook express outgoing mail seems to just 'sit there and not move; any
idea what is the problem. When I send the send/receive button, it seems to
want to go, but won't. Also, there is an item in my outgoing mail I want to
delete, but it won't let me delete it.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general. Outlook and Outlook Express aren't
the same thing. You posted in an Outlook newsgroup.
