My outlook 2002 find option is not working?

Outlook 2002 find option

I am currently using Outlook 2002, when I use the find option in my outlook
it is not giving me any result, I can see the word in my inbox but find
option doesn't bringing any thing for me. I have downloaded the update from
MS website, but it’s still the same.
Can some one help me please?
