My Outlook 2003 reports no errors in the send/receive process but outgoing
emails remain in the Outbox and are not delivered. Incoming emails are
received without any problem.
I'm using WinXP SP-2 with firewall disabled because I have Norton Internet
Security installed and I use that firewall. I have disabled it but the
problem persists.

I have problems with NIS 2005 and outlook as well -- I haven't seen a
fix for it on the internet yet. I have disabled the email features in
NIS, but it is still scanning my emails. I don't get it. Norton
won't reply to my emails yet.

same situation and same problem here. no solution. wondering if you had any
further luck? please get in touch.

I get the same thing. Turn everything off in Norton but apparently it still
scans. Go to Norton and they blame Outlook. Go here and they say go back to
Norton.

account will be deleted without reading.

Hi,

Sounds similar - Config is Outlook & Office 2003 and Norton Anti Virus...

Problem appears to be compounded when using the [Word] Mail Merge to Emails...
Sent about 75 emails - and although they are shown in the sent box - most
seem to have fallen inbetween the cracks between Outlook 2003 and NIS and the
Internet????

(Tried configs. of send immediately, and using [batch] send/Receive)
