My Outlook continually freezes. Help!

If I leave Outlook open without using it for a short while, it freezes. I
have to close and reopen the program. When I do, I have a fifteen minute wait
while it checks my system because Outlook had closed improperly. I have used
two registry cleaning programs to no avail. Does anyone have any idea?!

Hard to say without any details. Include at least your version of Outlook
and which mail account type you are using.
Also, does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

In addition registry cleaning programs can cause more problems than they
claim to cure. If you dont know how to manually edit the registry, do not
use such programs, use could render your PC inoperable
