My Outlook XP pst file password doesn't seem to work. Why?

I've set up a password for my outlook.pst file, but when I open Outlook, it
doesn't request the password. Am I missing something?

One thing that you've missed is the right newsgroup. This one's for
Microsoft Access. Perhaps if you tried in one of the Outlook groups you
might get a good answer.

Probably but you won't find it in a Microsoft Access newsgroup; you
might want to try posting in one of the microsoft.public.outlook
groups.
