Chances are that key is the key for Windows, not Office.

Did you pay extra for Office? Often a "trial" copy of Office is
included with a new computer, but it has a limited time use and if you want
to keep it you need to purchase it and you would get a new key with the
purchase to fully unlock it. Since it appears to have worked for two months
it would certainly appear to be that "trial" version

I would suggest that you may be able to buy a retail version of Office
for less than the key for the version you have. Check it out. If you do
purchase a retail version, delete the current version (using the un-install
tool will not delete any documents you have saved) and do a fresh install of
the retail version.

The key for Office is fixed to the Office cd case
Whilst the key on the PC case is for windows
If your Office version is an OEM version supplied with a PC it cannot be
used on another PC
