My POP3 is set up, but I don't receive anything, why?

I have my POP3 account setup correctly for googlemail, and in the testrun
everything works fine, yet I don't get any emails I receive. I can send them
out fine, and they go to where I'm sending them, but I can't view any emails
I get in outlook, why is that?
