I have been putting together some complicated slides for a presentation.
Some slides have 50 or so animations. Is it possible that there can be too
many animations on one slide? My computer just goes right into hybernation
when I am viewing a complicated slide of a power point presentation. I have
2003 version.

Help, I have much to do before April 2 & 3 when the presentation must be
completed.

Thanks,

Is your computer truly going into hibernation mode, or is it actually locking
up?

I do not have the magic number, but yes, a slide can be to complicated.
(Things like a "dirty" hard drive with tons of temp files, hasn't been
defragged lately, other things running in memory, etc. All have an effect.)
There simply is no reason to have a slide this complicated. Break it into
multiple slides.
