My PP Version...???

Hi,
I used to have PowerPoint 2002 and then I upgraded to XP
(on the same computer). But the thing is... whenever I
open PP, the little startup window says 'Microsoft Office
XP' And when I click on Help -> About Microsoft
PowerPoint, it says 'Microsoft PowerPoint 2002' So, why
is that? Can I change that so it'll say XP instead of
2002?

Microsoft named a lot of stuff they released about the same time 'XP'. It
has lead to a lot of confusion. PowerPoint XP is PowerPoint 2002 is
PowerPoint Version 10.

They are the same.

Thank you.
But, when I installed 'XP', PP changed. Like some of the
features & stuff like that.

[Bill Dilworth]

PowerPoint 2002 (aka XP) can emulate PowerPoint 2000 if you have selected
some of the options correctly. Perhaps this is the change that you saw, the
removal of these option settings.
