my project center view dissappeared!

Okay, I will start off by saying that I am very new to project server, and
the only resource at my company that has ever touched it. On to the problem:
so I wanted to modify the "Summary" view (my default view) under the Project
Center so I went to Server Settings > Manage Views and added one of the
"Available fields" to the "Displayed fields". I saved the changes and went
back to the view but now the page shows up blank with no way for me to even
select which view to look at?!?! What happened?!?! I went back and removed
the one field that I had added hoping it would go back to normal but it still
won't show anything. My first question is 1) what the heck happened and 2)
how do I change the default view from "Summary" to a different view? I know
how to do this in regular SharePoint (settings > list settings > view at the
bottom) but the same option doesn't seem to be available in PWA.

Robert:

Assuming you're using Project Server 2007, it sounds as though you
inadvertently closed the Project Center web part. Do you recall putting the
page into edit mode at some point? Try this:

Navigate to the Project Center Page
Use the Site Actions menu (upper right) to put the page into edit mode
Click on the bar in the page to Add a Web Part
Browse to the Project Center web part in the web part gallery and add it
back to the page

If you have problems with this procedure, ask more questions.

Huh, that is what happened...thanks. I still have the question though of how
to change the default view in any of the list in PAW (in PS 2007).
Thanks

The "default view" construct here is a bit fuzzy as the system always
remembers the last view the user selected and applies it. So default would
apply to the first use only. Essentially, when the system doesn't have user
view saved, it displays the first view on the list. To get a particular view
to the top, you can put an underscore as the first character of it's name.
