my project won't print to the edge?

I can't get my digital project to print all the way to the edges of the
paper. It always prints with an uneven white margins around the edge? HELP

That's right. The printer can't print to the edge.

So you design it a bit larger than your finished size, you print it on
paper larger than your finished size, and you trim it down.

This is how commercial printing works. Printing presses don't print to
the edge, either.

Elmo,

Some desktop printers can. My el cheapo Pixma does and it actually does
a good job. Not that I would use it for commercial work.
