Resources) ?
Thanks

Hi Robert,

I am not sure if I understand your quesiton, but if you want to see who is
part of a security group, all you need to do is open the security group you
wish to check, You will see that there is a list of all users that are part
of this group.

If you are after your resources that are within your Resource Breakdown
structure and if your organisation uses the Resource breakdown structure to
determin the security, than all you need to do is open the Resource Center
and you will only see the resources that you are in charge for.

I hope this answeres your question

Hi Marc,

I was thinking about the position in the RBS structure. I assumed that My
Resources included all the resources under "my" position in the RBS. I made
several simulations with several resources at different levels.
A resource which is at the bottom level don't see any other resource while
creating a Surrogate Timesheet. OK
The same resource is able to see 8 other resources (out of 110) in its
Resource Center. Some of them are at a higher level. Why?

Hi robert,

it depence on the catergory to where the resource is assigned to. I would
check what resource group the resource is associated, then I would check the
categories that are assinged to the user group ( and user ). When you open
the category you will be able to see how the RBS is set up per category. This
may make it clearer to why the resource is able to see the other resources.

Generally the security in Project Server can be fairly complicated due to
the Matrix approach of Groups and Categories. Even I have to double check
occationally until I get the security right :)

Please let me know if this answers your question. If not pleaese let me know
if you have further questions.
