My right-click is totally busted in Office

PT&S

I have recently purchased, downloaded, and installed Office Ultimate 2007 on
my Windows XP computer. This was a fresh install; no previous version of
Office was installed.

Things seem to work, pretty much, except ... in any Office program (Word,
Excel, etc.), right-clicking doesn't work. Sometimes it has no initial
effect, and other times, it may bring up a context menu offering me some
choices. Either way, after I select an item in the context menu or if I just
wait a second or so, everything goes freaky. All my open programs minimize
themselves, including Word/Excel/whatever to bring me to a view of just my
desktop. Furthermore, the Office program then ignores me for a while -- for
10 or 15 seconds, it won't respond if I click it in the task bar to bring it
back up.

Anyone know what's up? Thanks.

Have you run Office Diagnostics?

Diagnostics ... ok. Running, and ... no known problems discovered. Still
acting freaky when I right-click.
