My shared notebook is not being updated on the sharepoint server

so I make changes on my oneNote notebook, sync the notebook but the page I
added is not added to the document library on the sharepoint server. What's
going on?

Pages are stored within the OneNote section - you will not see another
entry in the document library just by adding a page. Are you able to see
the page if you sync that section in OneNote running on another computer?
