Typically, when I get finished with a new contact, task,
appointment I press alt-S and the info is saved and the
window closes. For some reason this is not happening
anymore. Is it a local hardware issue? Aprreciate any
info you can provide.

What is the Outlook version? It works here on my machine with Outlook 2003
SP-1. Did you recently install any patches? Remove anything?

removing anything. The alt key seems to do its alt thing
in other programs correctly.
