My summary icon is disabled. How do I enable it??

I am trying to create a summary page - I am in the Slide Sorter; I have
selected the slides but my summary icon is disabled...any ideas?

Nimbus55,
Some (or one) of your selected slides have no title placeholder. Deselect
these slides and the button will become available.

Do all those slides have title placeholders? Even if you drag the
placeholder off the edge of the slide so it won't show, PPT still needs them
in order to create the summary slide.
