Hi
I created a database, with a switchboard, the switchboard start-up
automatically. The switchboard comes immediately the database is opened, then
it will not give the access to the main database anymore accept the items on
the switchboard. Although I disabled some stuff while creating the
switchboard but does that mean I will not be able to do some stuff like
modify table, form and stuff,. How do I access the menus and have control of
the database again please.

Press F11 while the database is open
or
hold down the Shift key while you open the database

Then click on Tools + StartUp.
Place a check mark in the 'Display Database Window' box.

The database application will appear the next time you open the
database.

First thing to try is holding down shift when opening or pressing F11 to get
to design view. It is possible, of course, that you have set up so that
those will not work -- it is possible to lock yourself completely out of
design view, but it is difficult to do so accidentally.

I do not advocate use of the Switchboard Manager -- it is a complex solution
to a simple problem, and often obscures (as in this case) what is actually
going on. Almost always, you will have a simpler, more efficient switchboard
if you create the switchboard forms from design view with command buttons.
And, you have the added value of knowing exactly what you have done and what
is going on.
