My Tasks Question

Dots

Hi,

When I publish a project and then go to my tasks in Project server 2007, I
see all tasks assigned to me, even those that are 100% complete. How can I
only display those tasks that are NOT 100% complete?

Thanks,
Dots

It is not longer possible to hide completed tasks, therefore, you must do
the following:

1. At the top of the My Tasks page, click the Settings pick list button and
select View Options from the list.
2. In the View Options pane at the top of the page, select the Show Only
Current Tasks option.
3. Close the View Options pane.

After a completed task is more than 10 days old, the system will hide the
completed tasks automatically. By definition, a "Current" task is a task
that meets one of the following criteria:

1. Any task that should have started by now, but has not started yet.
2. Any task that is in progress.
3. Any task completed in the last 10 days.
4. Any task scheduled to start in the next 10 days.

Your Project Server administrator configures the number of days shown in
items #3 and #4 in the "Current" task definition, where 10 days is the
default value. Hope this helps.

Joe --

In her original question, Dots stated that she is using Project Server 2007.
Therefore, my response is for Project Server 2007. If you are using Project
Server 2003, users can hide completed tasks on their View My Tasks page.
Hope this helps.
