My Tasks View in blank

V

Vicente

An user connects to PWA, he selects My tasks and appears in blank. A few days
ago worked fine.

If selects My works appears an error. He can view projects through the
project center. Other users work fine without problems.

Any idea??

Thanks

The user connects in one computer that works fine with other different user
and gets the identical error.

Appears an inesperate error without more details. In the event viewer don´t
appear any message.

Vicente:

You should make sure that this isn't a permissions issue, that the user's
settings weren't accidentally changed. Verify their group membership and
individual settings. Are there any other pages that cause a similar problem?

Vincente,

You might also check to see if this user installed a browser toolbar such as
Yahoo or Google. Since it works on other computers logged in as himself, it
would appear as though something changed on the original computer.

Thanks.

The permissions have been revised and are the same than other users. The new
tasks assigned by PM don´t appear in Project Center.

Sometimes either "My Tasks" or "My Work" returns error.
When we put EPM 2007 in production enviroment with a lot of projects and
assignments this behaviour occurs time by time.

What we do if My Tasks returns error (MS SharePoint - unexexpected error
occurs)
1) Find all projects where resource assigned to the task.
2) Set "Publish" field in "No" for the first project and publish one.
3) Check if My Tasks page opens with no error. If no error - you find
"broken" project. Set Publish field to "Yes" and publish this project.
Usually it is enough to restore My Taks view. If My tasks view still dead -
save project to local file and republish one from local file.
4) Repeat 1-3 for all projects until "broken" project found.

Of cource it is hard work and looks stupid but I failed to find exact reason
why My Tasks view returns error. No event log issues and no any sign.
Fortunately it rarelly occurs.

Hope this help... a little
