My Tasks View

In the my task view (my assignments view) a resource can view all of the
tasks assigned to them, however the view is not sorted into subtasks.
For example the name of the project is there but then everything is sorted
under that. The actual sub task is in the tasks list. Any suggestions.

Should look like:-

PC Rollout Project
Scope Project
Perform risk assessment
Determine which pc is to be replaced

According to what you describe, Scope Project appears to be a summary task
to which you assigned resources. This is a definite "no no" in a Microsoft
Project plan, as you should never assign resources to summary tasks. To
answer your question, the My Tasks page does not show the Work Breakdown
Structure with summary tasks and subtasks. It merely shows the name of the
project, plus each task assign to the resource. This is a HUGE limitation
with Project Server 2007. To work around this, teach your resources to
click the name of the task to navigate to the Assignment Details view, where
they can see the path to the task, which reveals the summary task(s) for the
task. Hope this helps.
