My Tasks

I installed PS 2007 in a Virtual server. I configured My Task Settings and
Display Hours of work done per period. The resources got their task
assignments; however, when they try to update their respective tasks by
clickin the progress cell for that task the Task grid does not show up. In
addition, when they open the task to view the details that grid does not show
either.

This is the first time I ran into this issue and I certainly appreciate any
insight.

Have you by chance set the option to only allow input to My Task by
importing the timesheets?

Jonathan,

Thank you! No, I didn't. I have changed the Task Seetings and Display to %
of Work complete and Hours of work done per period and the grid still does
not appear in the Assignment details page or My Tasks.

Hmmm... I wonder if I'm seeing something similar actually.
Did you publish any projects before you changed the Task Settings?

Jonathan H,

Initially, I published a project and assigned the tasks to myself and
another resource using the % of work complete. I noticed then that the grid
would not come up. I then removed the project from project server and changed
the Task and Settings display to Hours of workdone per period and the grid
for the Work - Actual Work and Overtime still would not show up at all. I
compared the PWA instance settings on my VPC with the PWA instance on the
vrtual server settings and they are all the same.

I will be installing PS2007 on a true server tomorrow and hoping that this
issue does not come up. I have never ran into this issue before and I don't
know a work around.
