After testing the July 08 Infrastructure Update, these are the results I get.
My focus was the Remaining Work aspect of timesheet - as this is a highly
desired feature at a client.
1. Entered time, remaining work and submitted a timesheet without issue.
This was done on a simple task (set remaining work to .5d)
2. Importing timesheet from My Tasks did not bring over the remaining work
from the timesheet. Instead, remaining work was zeroed.
3. Same result when accepting updates into the project plan. Remaining
work gets set to zero.
4. Went back into timesheet and found that the non-zero remaining work from
before had been zeroed.
After 3 tests, I get the same results each time.
Note: on my system I've set the "Time entry by Timesheet only. Users will
sync to update tasks" checkbox to true.
Are others seeing similar results? As it stands, the remaining work
enhancement does not seem to work as it should. -boggy
