My use of "insert text box" is shutting down my computer. Help!!

When I use the application "insert" followed by "text box" and then start
printing in the text box I will get about 10 lines down and the computer
shuts off.

There is no message and the computer just sits there. The monitor goes
black and has no message on it.

Has anyone else had this problem? If I type without the use of the text box
app I have no problem. However, I am typing recipes for a book and want to
put a box around so I really don't want the width of the page. That is why
the use of the text box.

Do I have a flaw in that application?

Firstly, this isn't really a good use of a Text Box. From your description,
I would recommend that you create a style with the right paragraph margin
indented to the width limit you want.

The problem with the Text Box sounds as though you may have a printer driver
corruption. Try deleting and reinstalling the printer but make sure that you
have the latest driver from the manufacturer's support site.
