I cannot insert a video on my webpage because my Video icon is not
highlighted like the other icons in the same catagory.

I haven't even published/uploaded my webpages yet, so i don't think I have a
website open. Is there another way I can have a "website open", as you
suggest?. I closed everything, then re-opend one page and tried it again, but
still the video icon is not highlighted, so i cannot use it. This is so
frustrating.

File->Open Site/Web (wording depends on version of FrontPage)

Click on my Computer in places bar, and Browse to the folder containing your
pages - if its the My Documents folder or the root of a disc drive, move
the files to a subfolder of My Documents or to some other location, there
will be problems later if you don't.

Open the folder, and, if requested, allow FrontPage to convert it into a
web.

Hi! I followed your directions and put the folder containing my pages into a
subfolder but still in My Documents folder. I clicked it open and nothing
happens, it just displays the pages icons. I then opened a page, but from the
Program site, and tried and still the video icon is "gray" or not
highlighted. It worked for me once, then I deleted the video. When I went
back to insert another video file, it was "gray". I have WindowsXP, Frontpage
2003.

I tried this but it didn't make any difference . I am running WIN XP and
Frontpage 2003. Originally, yesterday, it worked once, but then i deleted the
video and went to insert another vieo file, and the Video icon was "gray".
Can't seem to change it, any more ideas?
