My Word document is too big due to the embedded pictures

Gurus,

My Word document is too big due to the embedded pictures (.gif, .jpg). How
can I reduce the overall size of my document with the fewest steps possible?

Ideally, you should resize the graphics before inserting them in Word.
What version of Word are you using? If using Word 2002 or Word 2003
then on the Picture toolbar use the "Compress Pictures" command and
see if that helps reduce the file size.

Hit CTRL-H
Type ^g
Click REPLACE ALL
Hit CTRL-S

Voila! (4 steps)

I don't think removing all of the graphics is what "Spin" had in mind.
