My Word has disappeared!

I have Windows/Office XP. Not sure what I've done, but
Word is no longer with me and all my former word
documents are now Wordpad. Reinstalled Office, but still
no Word - where can I find it?

Have you tried Start/Programs and looked for it there? If it is there,
right click, create shortcut and drag the shortcut to your desktop.

you could also trying typing "winword" when clicking on
the Start Button, then Run.

This will prove if Word is actually installed or not (if
it is, Word should come up).

To manually create shortcuts, you'll have to find the
source location on the .exe file. Try looking in
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office and look for winword.exe.
