What you see could be a border applied to the right side of each of the
paragraphs. To check whether this is the case, select one of the paragraphs.
Select Format > Borders and Shading > Borders tab and check whether a border
is shown at the right side of the preview diagram. It that is the case, click
the border to remove it.
If it is not a border, it could be an indication of tracked changes if you
printed the document with "Print what" set to "Document showing markup".
