Only the Viewers 2003 for Power Point, Word , Excel are installed on my
machine. No Microsoft Office Suite in any version is installed.
While applying the October security updates I had to make following
observations. Maybe anybody knows answers to below questions ?
[1] I did apply first the updates from July 038, 037.
Was it necessary ? Security Bulletins nowhere state, the
update are cumulative.
[2] The update KB923272 generates a warning like
"supported product not found". Under Control Panel -> Installed Software
-> Excel Viewer this update is however visible. Why this discrepancy ?
[3] After having installed KB923272, 923275 and 923276,
the old updates 917151, 917346, 918425 are no more visible under
Control Panel -> Installed Software -> Viewer 2003. Why actually ?
