I'm having a problem opening older files that I used to have no problem with.
I have an excel file with links to other workbooks (which I don't have). At first, I could open the file, say no to updating, and continue working. After several months, however, when I open the file, I can see the last #s updated when the prompt to update links appears. As soon as I say no to the update, the links all change to #Name? errors.
What is causing the problem?
