Name of music playing on Power Point slide show

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Someone sent me a slide show on Snow and the music playing is great. How do I find out the name of the music so I can find it
from iTunes and buy it.

Hi.

You'll have to play detective. You could ask the person who sent the
presentation what music was put into the presentation, or ask friends to
help you identify it by listening to it.

Thanks for your help but it was one of those forwarding, forwarding
type of e-mails. The original maker gets lost in the shuffle of multiple mailings.

Jim I forgot to thank you for replying.

Doesn't iTunes have an app that will ID music if you tell it to? It's
called SHAZAM. Maybe that will help? I believe it's free.

The best you could do AFAIK is to use File > Save As and choose
PowerPoint Package as the format. The sound file will be there, perhaps
with its original file name, which might yield a clue.

Shazam would have to be able to listen to the audio and then identify
the name of the song. Google is working on something like that for
pictures right now, but I am not familiar with anything like that for music.
