Name property of controls using the Forms Toolbar

I am trying to use the radio buttons and checkboxes from
the Forms Toolbar in Excel 98.

It would appear that they don't have the name property
that you would find in the Control Toolbox found in Excel
97. The name is basically the caption/or text associated
with the control

Is this correct? Anyway to get around this as I would
like to have the caption to be different from the name.

No, it's not correct. The items do indeed have a name property. The name is
the value that appears in the dropdown name box in the upper left of the
sheet. You can change the name to whatever you like in that box. The text
property of an option button is the actual label of the button, nothing to
do with its name.
