name suggestion not working even though activated

The "name suggestion" function in Outlook has stopped
working (this is where you type, for instance, Sharon,
and the system gives you a few options from e-mails that
you've previously sent). Yet, when I looked at "Advanced
E-mail Options", the "suggest names" function was checked.

Why would it have stopped working?

How do you know? If you created a new profile, you won't see it work until
you've populated a new cache.
