Names of attached files in email messages

When I send attachments in an email, I would like the
names of the attached files to be automatically recorded
in the body of the message, so that when I remove the
attachment before filing the message, there is still a
record of the files which were attached to it when it was
sent.

The only way I have seen the file names recorded in the emails is if you
choose the files you wish to send via Explorer, right click on them and
choose Send To, Mail Recipient. Outlook will populate the names of the
files you send in the subject field and body.

I use a neat little piece of freeware called Attachment Executive Lite from
http://www.MADSolutions.com

it does exactly what you want to do.

I also use Attachment Executive (full version). Seems like it was fifty
bucks or so. It saves the attachments wherever you like and writes a link to
the file in the body of your mail.
