Narrowing my search

I'm pretty new to Access and am doing basic searches. What I'm pulling is
accounts based on certain criteria. Pretty simple. My question is in our
database, one person can have multiple accounts, ex (John Doe Acct #1234567
but has sub acct #s 1234567-01, 1234567-02). I am trying to pull all the
information related to just John Doe's Acct 1234567 based on a certain rate.
How do I narrow my search to only get one of his accounts?

What do you mean by 'certian rate'? You do not indicate a field having
'rate.'
Use criteria Like [Enter account] & "*"
This will pull account and subaccounts.
