Naviagation pane duplicated in body

K

KBS

I am a new user, and have taken over an existing Frontpage site. One of the
pages has taken the undesireable characteristic of copy the navigation pane
(and head) into the body of the page. It seems to be adding these without
intervention on my part, all I need do is to save and it will add more.

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I can provide the site address if that would be appropriate.

Not sure but I would
Look at the page in "code" view.
See if you have 2 sections <head> and </head>
if not check if text is shown twice, if so simply delete one of the blocks
of text.

Have your host update / install the latest versions of FrontPage extensions.
It's an issue with the extensions, not FrontPage

Teriel9, Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, I cannot test it, as I recreated the page and the syptom went
away. All of my other web work was done outside of FP, using just an editor
and HTML. So I was used to making changes and then viewing them locally
before publishing them. Thanks for taking the time.....
