Navigation arrows kill Outlook

Quite often when I use the navigation arrows in Outlook to move between
messages, Outlook will return an error message and then "reboot". This has
been a problem since mid-June, 08. Suggestions?

Would you please post the whole error message?

The error just says Outlook has encountered an error and need to shut down.
Then it closes after clicking on the okay button and restarts. Outlook then
sends the error to Microsoft.

We need to know the details of that error message. When you get an "Illegal
Operation" or "encountered a problem" message, there is usually a "Details"
button, or a "click here" link to see the error report. When you click on
the button/link, it will give a message like: XXXX caused an error in YYYY
and a bunch of register nonsense or it will list the Appname XXXX and
Modname YYYY. The XXXX and YYYY are important to identify the cause and
solution. You can ignore the rest of the message.
