The sub-form of a typical form/sub-form pair features a navigation bar. When
the form opens it displays record ‘1’, as expected, but the ‘of N’ display,
to the right of the navigation bar (where N represents the number of records)
is not shown. The appropriate records are presented when the navigation
buttons are manually exercised, but only when the last record is reached does
‘of N’ appear. It then remains visible whatever record is subsequently
displayed. Can anyone suggest why this happens and how to fix it? It only
affects a few forms but, where it is a problem it seems impossible to
resolve. I have tried using GotoRecord statements, to programmatically
'exercise' the navigation buttons but that does not work.
