Navigation bar problems...

A colleague and I are having a problem with his webpage. He posted below
about it, but I'd like to ask a question and update the situation a bit...

Shawn is trying to publish a webpage with a navigation bar. He's inserted
the navigation bar just in the general body of the page...not within a shared
border or anything. It appears to be there when he's in FrontPage, but when
he views the page on the server through Internet Explorer, there is no
navigation bar.

I have full rights to his website and also have FP 2003. I have been able to
make the navigation work before, so we thought, why don't I try to save that
file to the server and see if the navigation bar pops up in the browser. I
pulled up that file through my FP and just clicked on SAVE...didn't make any
changes to the file whatsoever. It saved the file and when we viewed the page
in IE, the navigation bar is there! He opened it back up and hit save and the
navigation bar disappeared. Interesting, eh? So we went through our menus and
options trying to compare settings. It appears that we have the same settings
exactly, but we must be missing one. Do you have any idea what setting we're
missing?

Thanks so much for your help!

Sounds like he just opened a page for editing.
You need to open a web first, then the page so FrontPage can associate the
files and components.
