Navigation keys

I have Word 2000. The navigation keys (Home, Delete, arrows, Page Up & Page Down) are either not functioning at all or functioning anomalously. Is it posssible that the normal template has been modified to simulate WordPerfect? THe keyboard functions properly in Excel, and the same documents work fine on a different computer.

Click the "Tools" menu, select "Options", click the "General" TAB, and
uncheck the two WordPerfect options and see if it persists.
