Navigation Pain again

I created a new database in Access 2007, but imported some forms to give me
a start.
The problem is the Navigation Pane - it always slides open when the database
is opened.
The database that the forms were copied from does not have this issue.
Under Options, Display Navigation Pane is unchecked.

Where else can I compress or hide the Navigation Pane?

Sounds weird that you are having trouble with this.

Here is a link to code for setting properties for A2007
http://www.allenbrowne.com//ser-69.html

One of the properties relates to showing or hiding the navigation pane.
You can set the properties when you start up the database.

There is also this code
DoCmd.LockNavigationPane True

What an excellent article from Allen Browne - thanks for the link, and my
database is functioning properly now.
Thanks,
Mich
