Navigation pane totally blank on imported database

I imported an A2002 database into A2007 (which I've done many times before.)
I kept the format as A2002. But the Navigation Pane is competely blank.
Even if I turn on "Show Hidden Objects" and "Show System Objects" there's
still nothing in there.
All the objects are there and al the VB project is there. If I switch to
the VBproject with ALT-F11, then choose one of the forms or reports and
right click it and select "show object", the form or report displays OK.
But nothing at all is in the control pane.
Anjy ideas?
