Navigation pane

I've recently purchased a new Lenovo laptop. The resolution is identical to
my old Dell (1680x1050). For some reason the Outlook navigation pane's fonts
and icons are much larger than they are on the old Dell. Other items are
affected also, but I am most concerned with the navigation pane. Does anyone
have a suggestion on what I might have done that would make the two so
different?

Have you checked your DPI settings already?
