Navigation to Project Center is not supported from Outlook 2007

Description:
When trying to navigate through Outlook to Project Center, it get loaded
with the list of projects, but when trying to navigate to another view in
Project Center, it shows only a "Loading grid..." message

Repro steps:
1. Open Outlook 2007
2. Right click the toolbar area and add the "Web" toolbar
3. Type in the Project Center URL. It should be something like
"http://<server_name>/pwa/projects.aspx"
4. The page should appear properly
5. Change the Project Center view by selecting another view name in the
combo box

Expected Results:
The Project Center view changed.
Instead of that we get a "Loading grid..." message

How often does this happen?

Which version of Project Server?
Are you able to download the activeX control if you go via the browser?

I suspect this could be an outlook security feature?

Hi Ben,
Thanks for response.
We use Project 2007.
I am able to navigate (with no error) to Project Center via IE.
Do you know of any Outlook option i can set, so the activeX will work?

Hi Amir, I would try Tools | Trust Center and have a look in there. I don't
know of anything explicit, I would have expected outlook to use the IE
settings.
