Does Google consider the navigation in the Shared border
of a front page web to be text links?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated... as would a
constructive critic. www.themx.info

Google doesn't see the shared borders, is see the content of the shared border which is included in
your pages.

If you created the links as text, then they will be seen as text, but if you create them as buttons,
then they will be seen as image links.

You mean the navigation bot (because one can type a menu into the shared
border.. if you used text links and not images the answer is yes. However
one is better off using includes more control.

quick Critique.

First impression .. too much going on ... you need to lighten the homepage
I had to read a little to figure out what the name of the site was .. I'd
get yourself a logo and brand the site.

don't like the colours looks like someone has been sick.

Never us a visible counter ... only the server can count properly so look at
those stats... a visible counter with a low count is embarrassing and a high
one not believed and they don't count correctly ... it's not professional
use a tracker which shows an icon ... then you can get quick referral stats
... and still have a count which won't be accurate but will give you an
general idea.

Different colours of fonts different sizes different fonts... uniform the
fonts stick with one colour in the main .. and above all one type .. sans
serif.. though I could not see any serif one's which is good.

If the page load is high lose the animation ... it's not bad but for an
information site it's not needed.

Good you have a privacy policy and search and contact forms with the contact
forms make custom confirmation pages (I tested it so you should get a test
one ) Do you have it configured to send you an email? I've not got time to
look.

ARGGGGGGggggh .. .I just right clicked to find out the link for a graphic
that was not showing and you have the no right click script on the site...
that ends my critique .... using that script sends away visitors .. and if
you have your site about your town I guess you don't count the disabled
citizens there ... cos many of them won't be able to access the site. The
script is worthless ... there are many ways around it.
see http://jamesshuggins.com/h/web1/how_do_i_turn_off_right_click.htm

Quickest get around is to hold down the right mouse key then press enter.

I would have done more for this critique but I don't agree with no right
click script.

the image not coming up btw is on
