Navigation View/Bar causes FrontPage to crash

When I add a Navigation Link Bar, based on the Navigation
View of a simple Web to a shared border (top or left),
within seconds FrontPage shuts down.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

I'm trying to create a new web, as well as restore one
that used to work fine, both using navigation link bars.

I'm having the same problem. Does anyone have a fix for
this issue or know of one. THANKS MUCH

Have you tried all the below the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office

Then File Open Web and run Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
