need a doc that users can tab from field to field to enter text

I have a contact doc created in word but when I type in info I have to go and
delete spaces so that I dont change the format. How do i protect the basic
information and set fields so that users can just tab from field to field and
input the data and then save the doc?

Best way is to create a fillable PDF form from your Word doc form. You'd
need Acrobat (the real one not just the reader) or any pdf creator capable
of creating fillable pdfs. There are several free ones out there...like;
PrimoPDF CutePDF etc but I'm not sure if you can create fillable forms with
the free ones; you'd have to check.
