Can't outlook be more flexible in their rule making such that we could make
rules that screen spammers who address to "marketing@" or "sales@" in BCC
address fields. If we could design rules with complete flexibility on
whether an address is in , or not included it, any combination of To:, CC: or
BCC: I think I could screen out most of the junk mail.

If you use the "with specific words in the recipient's address", specifying
"marketing" and "sales" as to of the strings, how does that not meet your
goal?

Because I AM in marketing and need to get those emails.

But the point is, often the junk mail comes in with "marketing" in the BCC
or my name (somehow) in BCC. ...This way I might still get some legit emails
in my junk mail folder, but at least I could get a lot more junk out of my
Inbox.

With a little creativity around "to Marketing" but "not from a known sender"
then I could create some pretty good rules.

And this seems like such an easy thing for MS to do. It's clearly feasible,
since the have this capability for To: and CC: why not for BCC:, or any
combination thereof?

That's why I said "recipient's address" and not "To" or "Cc". The recipient
should cover the case of "Bcc" as well.
