Need an Access template for tracking requests for resources

Does anyone have a template of a database used to track request for resources
and resource scheduling?

We are looking to track incoming requests for staff resources for a
project/task, date of request, requestor, estimated resource hours needed,
type of resource needed, estimated start date, estimated completion date, due
date, deliverables, status, % of resource time, resource availability, etc...

I know this is pretty specific, but if anyone has something to get me
started, I can modify it for our needs. Any suggestions/recommendations are
appreciated.

This is actually the kind of thing you'd use Microsoft Project for. I don't
know of any Excel or Access template that is quite this extensive, but maybe
you'll get lucky and someone will have one already.

Unfortunately, not everyone has Microsoft project... Currently, we are using
an Excel spreadsheet which is not very effective.

I understand. I wanted to make sure you were at least aware of MS Project,
though, since it's not as well known an application as the others -- and
since it's specifically designed for the types of tasks you described.
