need direction for a paper

hi,

i am trying to find as much information as i can on securing a file to
a network so that the file can be viewed on that network but will not
be recognized anywhere else. i've searched the usual suspect, google,
lexis, etc...i'm wondering if someone knows of any whitepaper or other
type information repository where i might find more information about
this single file encryption.

I have a hunch that you are not talking about an Access database file, since
you don't mention that. This newsgroup is about security in Access, the
database product.

You should direct your question to a newsgroup about security in Windows.
